Anyone heard of Koh Kood? There is a remote but yet accessible destination so nearby the Thai island of Kood, on which Soneva Kiri is set amidst the lush tropical rainforest, off the south-east coast of the Gulf of Siam. Our guests are personally met on arrival at Bangkok’s airport and transferred to the resort’s own airplane for the one-hour flight to the Soneva Kiri airfield. Upon landing, guests are greeted by their Mr or Ms Friday - who will be on hand during the entire stay – and escorted on the five-minute Aquasense power-boat crossing from the airfield. Once you stepped ashore, a warm welcome and a short buggy to bring you to your rustic Beach Villa or Pool Villa with absolute privacy.

The villa has a separate master bedroom, a dressing area and bathroom with outdoor vanity, shower and bath. There is an open deck sitting area with large dining table, leading onto a lower pool side area with additional relaxation areas. The lowest room category - Hill Villa Suite, at least covers a 488sqm, which is the size of my home multiply by five! OMG! Can you imagine the 'hugeeeee' space you be having during the entire stay?! I would really love to visit this property when S returns. Besides the basic in-room amenities, there is also an espresso machine, DVD player and Bose Hi-Fi system with docking station for a personal iPod. This is so Cool!!!

Tree Pod Dining, the most innovative dining aloft I have ever seen. The dining is about 16-feet, or around 5 metres, off terra firma. The Dining Pod, engineered with a rigid frame swathed in woven rattan, is like a cocoon with an open panorama window. You must wondering how we do we get up there?! Beats me when I first saw this pic too~

Up to four diners board the pod, they will be elevated to the lofty height by a system of safety winches. Food courses arrive courtesy of a flying waiter – harnessed to a zip line – as do beverage replenishment. However, unlike the other form of first class dining aloft, this experience enjoys the ultimate exclusivity, and very little turbulence.

Some of you must be awe by all the uniqueness.. and thinking it would cost you a bomb to book for this package. Good news! You don't have to... we got you the best deal less than SGD6000/- per couple, that comes with round trip airfares to Bangkok and Kiri; round trip private transfer from airport and speedboat to Koh Kood Island; 3-nights accommodation with daily ala-carte breakfast. Ideally for a couple hideout or a rendezvous affair, definitely a must-go destination to explore and experience once a lifetime~~~
