We were turned off when we reached The Courtyard last weekend to find out there's only 2 counters of Chocolate Buffet. Maybe due to many good recommendation, thus our expectation gets higher. We were sad to see so few varieties and it's really not what we expected before we come. Those pics shown here were exactly what we had that day. That's all! Nothing impressive or appealing to me. Very disappointed and unworthy to pay SGD38++ per person for this limited spread of buffet.
Besides the negative, we also have positive feedback. Thumbs up for the Assistant Manager- Mr. Steven, who provided excellent services to us. Knowing we've made reservation for 9 but in the end, we paid for 5 who came earlier and discouraged the remaining 4 not to take up the chocolate buffet. We wanted to go elsewhere for dinner. Steven came to us, asked if we were looking for a dinner venue. There is a Mediterranean Buffet Dinner at S$58++ per person. He's willing to give us a special deal by charging 5 and give FOC for 4! Wow~ That's a good bargain and we accepted since we already here. That's what we called customer service. Counter-offer and salvage the situation, leaves a deep impression in our memory. Great job!
