Visited Santouka a few days back. S has no idea where to go for our dinner, and I really like to have a bowl of hot soup..preferably accompanied with noodles rather than rice. I suggested we go to The Central and have a look. Whilst we were there, I remembered having ramen with Ivi and Vanes last year. And we love the food so much!
I forgotten the name of the shop, but after a quick search via my blog (I remember I wrote about this ramen shop), I found it!
Fortunately, we didn't wait long to get seated after the two couples in front of us. S don't like to wait and the queue is always long during dinner time. =P
The Green Onion Bowl Combo comes with Miso ramen, green onion rice and salad. S ordered a Grilled Salmon Bowl Combo (with Spicy Miso ramen, Grilled Salmon rice and salad). We also ordered Chawamushi (jap steamed egg), a Tamago Koji (stewed egg) and Japanese Fried Chicken as side dishes. That's really a lot for just two of us!
The Miso Ramen is Amazing! Two thumbs up!! The soup is made from of pork broth and a rich and hearty miso paste. They use different pork broth than the Shio Ramen to bring out the miso flavour.
Though disappointed with the stewed egg, we still enjoyed our meal very much. We finished every bit of our ramen. Drowning down the cooling beer after our satisfying meal, Aaaaah!!!
Those who are looking for Authentic taste of Hokkaido Ramen, don't forget to try Ramen Santouka.
This is definitely my favourite ramen place in Singapore!

There's a vast selection of Japanese groceries and products in Torrance store. You will find more than 20 specialty shops; Books, Gift Items, Video Rental, Dry Cleaners, Travel Agency, Confectionery, Bakery, Tableware, Pottery and Cosmetics. For quick lunch or dinner, our Restaurant Row offers exquisite choices of authentic selections; Sushi, Ramen, Tonkatsu, Curry, Cakes, and much more. A great way to spend a day for a taste of Japan.

The authentic taste of the famous Ramen shop in Japan is very popular in the US!! Santouka reigns supreme with its delicious noodles in a full-flavor soup, topped with select gourmet items. A flood of new fans has already discovered them and cos of their quality keeps the crowds coming back.
Savor their “Shio” ramen and you will be hooked!

I always order Miso Ramen, despite the fact that I always say to myself, "I'll try something else this time...." by the time, the waitress comes to me..there I go again "give me a Miso Ramen for my set..."
