Cartoon Camp is Back!

Yes, Cartoon Camp is back in action for this December school holidays. My dear boy has been bugging me these two days to let him join the camp again. He had an awesome time the last session in March this year. Another reason for him to join them again is he's still holding on to the 'kingdom dollars' that he earned from the previous program he attended. It can be used and act as $$$ to buy other kids' handicrafts at the camp.

Knowing that he won't let me off so easily....he pester me non-stop... finally I succumb to his request this morning. He is only allowed choose one full day program or a night program. I saw his gleeful face and he's really overwhelm the whole day.

Brandon got his report book back yesterday and his result are satisfactory in school but to me, he's way above average. There are slight improvement in his final-year's results compare to his mid-year's. He has completed four years in primary school. Next year, he will go P5, and he has an option to choose the subject combination. We decided to heed Ms. Ho's (his form teacher) recommendation, let him take the 4 standard subjects. It would be easier and less stressful for him.

Though he scored an overall of 321/400 percentage in class, but almost two-third of his classmates range between 360-380/400. Meaning most of the students in his class are genuinely smarter and for some of them to take additional subject under Higher Mother Tongue Language is small case for them. Brandon is different and all along, he is weak in his MT and not very good in written work for Science. It would only make him dislike the two subjects more than now if we choose the latter option.

I am content with his school result and I want him to enjoy his school life while he can. We didn't ask him to be Number. 1 or be the Top Five in class... since Primary 1 till 4, he has never score below 65 marks and I am so proud of him. What more can I ask from him.... Kudos my boy!
