Our yoga master shared a story with us on 'balancing' today. I agree with him. Sometimes, we must listen to our body when we need rest, we must rest. When we need food, we have to eat. Too much sleep will cause migraine and over-eating is bad for our health. Having a meal a day to slim down or keep in shape is not healthy too. We need to keep a balance lifestyle.
Our master discourage us to take Hot Yoga lesson if we are feeling stressful on that day of lesson. Reason being we will feel more 'pain' when we exert ourselves on certain postures. Taking more than 3 lessons in a day is also not advisable. Ideally 2 lessons consecutively once or twice a week. Normally, I only for 1 lesson and about 2-3 times weekly.
It's a good activity... relax your mind... good for health and helps to keep you in shape.
I enjoy doing Yoga and my colleague, Bessie is becoming addicted to it after I get her to join me.
