Outing with my boy

Here I wish all the Malay friends 'HAPPY HARI RAYA HAJI'

Today is a public holiday and I'm not working. Promised Brandon I'll bring him out for lunch and movie date. Unfortunately, S is feeling moody the whole day. He only found out this morning that he lost his wallet last night. Poor thing! Quite a lump sum =( I hope there is miracle where a kind soul found it and return back to him.

We had our lunch at TCC Wisma Atrium. Silly me! I thought I could make use if the 50% discount voucher on my birthday month, but I didn't notice a small clause stating 'discount not applicable on eve & public holidays'. *hhump

While Brandon had his Chicken & Mushroom Spaghetti, we had our side dishes - Shrooms and Spicy Chicken Wings.

Ocean Sur-Fin=Tender fish fillet breezing with ocean freshness perfected with a delectably sweet and delish warm onion dressing and a dollop of zesty salsa.

Its a Must-Order dish! Highly recommended!!! If you are a fish lover, you gotta try this. You won't regret!

We went shopping before we go for our movie at Lido.

Kind of cute when I saw Brandon was following S behind.. He wanted to cheer S up... Lol~

the movie we watched - Taken 2

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

After the show, we walked to Marriott Hotel to collect my birthday cake. Compliments from M1, every year without fail the tele-operator sends me a birthday cake in October. Past 3 years from Royal Hotel @ Scotts, now they changed a new supplier. I have not taste the cake yet, so I can't give any comment. But the manager who is in-charge of the +Java, leaves a bad impression to me. She's unfriendly and inflexible. Even I'm using my voucher to claim a cake, I'm still a customer to them. My hand phone plan is definitely not a cheap plan.

After we sent Brandon to his tuition centre, we meet Norman & Minghui for dinner. We found this Nonya Restaurant opposite 112 Katong and decided to give a try.

As usual, we ordered a lot. These were few of the main dishes we fill our stomach tonight.

1. Ikan Assam Manis
2. Tofu with Braised Sauce
3. Sambal Udang (Prawn)
4. Nonya Chap Chye
5. Nonya Ngoh Hiong

Besides serving meals, Kim Choo's Kitchen also sells Nonya kuehs and traditional snacks. I bought a tapioca kueh with freshly grated coconut topping and Norman bought some Onde Onde, it's his mum's favorite.
