All about FRUITS

Honestly, I'm not a fan for fruits since young kid to an adult. I never dislike fruits but neither fancy or have them every meal a day. I remember vividly when I was on a business trip with my boss in UK the year before, she had fruits every day and night. Totally a 'fruit freak'! I was so turned off cos I never ate so much fruits in my life.

Gradually and surprisingly, she influenced me well and now, I'm following her foot path. Thanks to her, I become a 'fruit lover' like her and anything to do with berries and cherries, I can't resist them!

I got to know lots of benefits from all these colorful fruits which I will make a point to replenish them in my fridge weekly.

Stawberries are amazing and even better if you eat them fresh. *They reduce the risk of degenerative disease. *They could reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. *They could help to reduce your stress as they contain super lotsa Vitamin C! And the most important benefit which I'm in need. *Prevent bone loss as they are high in potassium. *The antioxidant power of the anthrocyanins found in strawberries lasts up to 24 hours after consumption which makes them a great defence against free radical damage!

You only see these Rainer Cherries during late Spring and Summer. And they only produced from the States.

Research has shown that cherry consumption can help the body prevent heart disease and cancer. I guess due to the antioxidants found in cherries.

Blueberries are one of the most nutrient dense foods in the world and contains large levels and a broad range of antioxidants. The ORAC score of blueberries is an incredible 9,621 which makes it one of the highest antioxidant foods in the world. Consuming just one cup of blueberries will provide you with the following nutrients:

  • Resveratrol
  • Gallic acid
  • Lutein
  • Zeaxanthin
  • Vitamin K (36%)
  • Vitamin C (25%)
  • Manganese (25%)
  • Fiber (5g 17%)
How can you resist not eating them?!

I tried KiwiBerry before and I think the season is right now. A 'powerful healthy' fruit from New Zealand. I just bought them yesterday. Tasted sooo good!

The health benefits of grapes include their ability to treat *constipation, *indigestion, *fatigue, *kidney disorders, *macular degeneration and the *prevention of cataracts. Grapes, one of the most popular and delicious fruits, are rich sources of vitamins A, C, B6 and folate in addition to essential minerals like potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and selenium.

I'm really blessed staying in this central neighborhood with many supermarkets to choose from. They will shipped in all kinds of fruits from many different countries and I'm thankful for that.

Let's eat healthily for our well-being!😜
