our colonial garden view room...
with king-sized bed and in house movies..
large marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub
and walk in wardrobe ~our butler was so kind and attentive,
he took the effort to prepare a lovely flower bath for us~
we went for the glass bottom boat ride..
we also tried the paddle boats and it was so fun!
This is the 2nd hotel that we stayed in Mauritius. You'll be inspired by turn-of-the-century plantation houses. The Residence Mauritius recaptured the elegance of a bygone era, while ushering in all the sophisticated accessories of the 21st century. A very luxury hotel yet retains a traditional plantation feel. Beautiful long beach of powdery white sand, the oversized guest rooms and suites are in a Colonial style- their muted colour scheme of whites and beiges complemented by honey-coloured woods, wrought iron and beautiful shutters. Add a personal butler to do everything from unpacking your luggage and pressing your clothes to running a bath laced with exquisite products and the 'good old days' just got even better.

The Plantation with oceanfront setting serves the freshest seafood on the island. I tried the pizza and pasta... delicious! I also like The Dining Room, which serves both western and local delicacies. I've been craving for Chinese food since our 2nd night at Tamassa. The atmosphere and cuisine were so much better... Gosh! So, we've made the right choice to spend our last 3 nights at The Residence....~wee-wee

Wonderful. It would be great to stay at the residence mauritius hotel during the holiday.
