Morning briefing at 7am, we have four students who overslept and snoring away until 8am. OMG!
After singing our Singapore National Anthem and said our Pledge, time for some stretching~
Our sumptuous buffet breakfast..I should have taken a picture of the 'hungry-ghost-students' to show you. *^o^* We were so fortunate to have a wonderful chef on duty, who helps me throughput the three days. He even went extra mile to prepare two vegetarians' set for every meals including breakfast. Unbelievable! Do you know how many rounds of the replenish we standby for these students? Its 4-5 times... Woooah!
He is Hamid, FH's Asst. Director in Product Development. He speaks English, Malay and superd fluent Japanese language. Previously worked in Japan Airlines for more than 20 years. A humble family man, with great patience and friendly guy. Luckily he's around to help me out.. not only act as a translator but also coordinate the whole event excellently. Kudos!
There are many activities to keep you occupied if you come Lotus Desaru with family or friends. etc. Cycling, Canon Board Games, Arcade Game Machines, Billiards...and more.. they also have team-building by their own staffs for any incentive groups...
Big Thanks to Hamid! Cos of him, I got a free ride from Rohayat to the Desaru Fruit Farm Tour. Only a 5-minutes drive away... Did you see the Dragon Fruits? They look so ripe and juicy~
The Main Entrance and The Mini-Zoo...
The One and Only BIG Jackfruit!
Pamelo and Rambutans~
Gosh! I forgotten what these...Oppps!
There are students who look lost... I bet they seldom cook at home by their own, either serves by main or mummies. They don't know how to start the fire, how to keep it going...and some of them look frustrated.
They are also few of them who enjoy the cooking outdoor...
Hamid told me one of the student commented : 'I rather die than to eat this!' Holy God!
Singaporeans kids are indeed pampered and take things for granted. I can't imagine one day if there is a War in Singapore, how would the young generations take it?!
