It's time to bid goodbye to Lotus Desaru and the learning program coming to an end. Many of the students look tired and restless... they can't wait to get back home and have a good rest.
Visit to the Old Folks Home. The students were told to use their creativity and initiative to help the elderly. Examples: Help them clean up the rooms, wipe the windows (which were flooded with bird-shit's stains), wash the toilets, decorate the home and create the Chinese New Year's atmosphere. Some even had a chat with the old folks and keep them company for that short while.
Learning to cook Curry for the old folks and helping out to distribute the food.
Hand-Made Lanterns by some of the foreigners students...saw the efforts put in- Well done!!!
