Continue on The Beauty of London

The Albert Memorial (under refurbishment) located at in Kensington Gardens on Albert Memorial Road opposite the Royal Albert Hall. This Memorial was commissioned by Queen Victoria as a tribute to her late consort, Prince Albert. The High Gothic monument was completed in 1876, 15 years after Prince Albert died at age 41.

After a morning brisk walk at the famous Hyde Park, we were feeling cold and craving for a hot latte to keep us warm. We found this Cafe Consort inside the Royal Albert Hall. I like the lively vibrant atmosphere and the furnishing. This cafe serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, sweet treats, coffee, tea, and a lot more...

 Royal Albert Hall
This historical entertainment hall was built in 1871 in the honor of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband and consort. The red brick building behind was renovated in 2004. Many well-known pop artists hosts their performance in this hall the last several decades..etc. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Abba and Meat Loaf. The Royal Albert Hall isn't just a music venue, it has also been used for events such as ice-skating, tennis, and even sumo wrestling.

This Science Museum is one of the most interactive in the city, with lots of hands-on exhibits. Showing you the creativity at how Science, technology and industry influence everyday life.
